5. IntelligenceFocus' services use proprietary technologies to collect non-personally identifiable information about end users, and provides our customers withonline analysis services. In addition to IntelligenceFocus-provided network data, one of the primary methods used by these techmologies to collect anonymous data is the placement of cookies and the activation of API - Application Programming Interfaces based on standard Web Services. Cookies are small information files that an end user's Web browser places on that user's computer when a Web site is visited. In addition to the session cookie, IntelligenceFocus uses other anonymous data collection methods such as appending query strings to an image request. These data collection methods are subject to change from time to time as technology develops.
6. IntelligenceFocus’ Customers can store additional information on IntelligenceFocus’ Servers by using the API. This is a powerful tool to allow our Customers to enhance the analytics they can run on IntelligenceFocus with proprietary sets of data and information. IntelligenceFocus has no control over these data. Customers may use the API to store or gather personally identifiable information that has been rightfully obtained by the corporate customer, such as (but not limited by) email addresses of certain participating visitors to their website(s). All such information is and will remain customer property, and will be treated by IntelligenceFocus as proprietary and confidential information of each customer, respectively. In these cases it is exclusive responsability of our Customers to comply with all the applicable national and international laws.
7. IntelligenceFocus has published a detailed Privacy Policy that explains our approach in depth.
